E 'yesterday's news that he died Tommaso Padoa Schioppa.
I got to know and respect through his experience in government in the Prodi government, but especially through a book "The short vision."
The memory that I have through the book is a quiet person, prepared, concrete and far from a sure way of doing politics today. What is needed.
The book in the form of an interview I found it very beautiful, precise, non-partisan and clear in indicating the causes of the current crisis, but also prophetic and somewhat optimistic.
Once again it's up to us to decide if Padoa Schioppa is "big babies" o "tasse bellissime da pagare" o una persona che forse non era un grandissimo comunicatore, ma ha e aveva molte cose saggie da dire e su cui riflettere.
A me mancherà, quindi grazie, e buon viaggio nella nuova esperienza.
